I just created a branch clang_warnings that is focused on squashing the 
sometimes nit-picky warnings clang generates when PDL is compiled.  In fact, 
probably >90% of the warnings have already been squashed.  Before rebasing onto 
master, I would appreciate tests and code review from both clang and non-clang 
users; a lot of this is messing around with low-level C stuff, Perl macros, 
etc, so I want to make sure I didn't do anything dumb.
