Attention PDL Users, Developers, and Module Authors- This is the PDL-2.008 Release Candidate 1 and should be appearing at a CPAN mirror near you soon. The remaining work is to be focused on updating the Known_problems, Release_Notes, especially with any issues found by you testing this release. Please do! Some specific ideas:
- Does a clean install work? - Any issues in building/testing? - Help update the list of bugs on sf.net that have been fixed (I think some have but the Known_problems is based only on the sf.net tickets status). - Please help update any install directions on our PDL web site (http://pdl.perl.org) and any other docs that need clarification. - If you have a non-Core distribution PDL module, please verify that it works with PDL-2.008 and, if possible, report that fact. If there is a problem, let us know as well.
