Would it make sense to support PDL via homebrew? I see that it is
possible to install NumPy via homebrew[^1].

I'd also like to get a handle on the best way to install IPerl on Mac
OSX. It appears that the ZeroMQ dependency causes problems for users
which I can't diagnose without my own OSX install.
