We're in the final stages of pre-release testing for the upcoming PDL-2.014
release next Monday.
The highlight of this release is the completion of 64bit support which I
believe should address the problems which de-railed PDL from the Debian
packages.
Could you please try the current CPAN developers release (
CHM/PDL-2.013_04.tar.gz ) and report if it now builds on the big-endian
systems (I think that was where the problems were)? With this release, I
would like PDL closer to the current baseline (e.g., dozens of bugs have
been fixed since PDL-2.007).
PDL-2.014 should be the best PDL yet! I look forward to your prompt
response.
