Good news/bad news story: We just had a report of a bug in clump(-N) for PDL-2.014. As in the reshape() bug, this can lead to invalid values and crashes. I am able to reproduce the bug on my cygwin PDL-2.014 install.
The good news part is we have a specific code to debug. See http://sourceforge.net/p/pdl/bugs/406/ and the possibly related http://sourceforge.net/p/pdl/bugs/403/ for details. Help with a fix would be greatly appreciated. I may not be able to investigate further until this weekend. Thanks to Bryan for reporting the problem.
