I'm testing my codes with this version and they seem to work so far.
I did have a problem at first: I used perlbrew to install perl-5.32.1,
and into it I installed PDL 2.026 and associated modules. Then I used
perlbrew lib to make a lib directory perl-5.32.1@pdl26_04, switched
into it and installed pdl 2.026_04. After that, many tests failed
(Parse errors: Bad Plan. you planned NN tests but ran 0). My guess is
that the problem was that I use modules that I hadn't install in
perl-5.32.1@pdl26_04 but that I had previously installed in
perl-5.32.1. My problems were solved by reinstalling PDL::FFTW3 under
perl-5.32.1@pdl26_04.
My question is: is there some systematic way to diagnose the origin of
these kind of errors, should I stumble into them again? As I
understand, the idea of 'perlbrew lib' is to avoid having to reinstal all
packages when you want to test a new version of one, but how can I
quickly find out which other packages become incompatible and need
reinstallation in the new lib?
Best regards,
Luis
