I am reinstalling PDL and I got an error while building it:
$ perl Makefile.PL
...
$ make
...
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/mochan/.cpanm/work/1433188192.16048/PDL-2.00│·

From what I've understood in this list PLplot is no longer part of the PDL
distribution, and accordingly, there is no Graphics/PLplot
subdirectory. What I don't understand is why 'make' is trying to enter
that directory. I saw that Graphics/Makefile had references to PLplot,
so I blindly commented them out to proceed. I guess there is a better
solucion.
