This is a developers release to verify the fixes to
a number of issues from perl changes leading to PDL
failures---now or comming soon. This is sometimes
referred to as "bitrot" since nothing in PDL has
changed but now something is broken...
Assuming this passes CPAN Testers and the included
fixes are confirmed. This will be come a PDL-2.018
release shortly.

General Notes:
* This is version 2.017_01 of the Perl Data Language,
* Addresses some problems from changes in the perl
infrastructure that are or will break things in PDL.
Highlights:
* Handle coming removal of '.' from @INC
* Fix sf bug #432: Work around List::MoreUtils bug
This was causing a lot of PDL test failures.
* Fix build problem on perl <= 5.14
* Make GSL bindings not abort on errors.
