I forget who originally posted this question, but the issue was brought up
that this lens does not appear much "longer" at the 135mm end than their
100mm lens. This would indeed be the case at closer distances since the
lens uses internal focusing. IF makes the actual maximum focal length of
135mm only available at infinity. Focusing distances shorter than that will
yield progressively shorter effective focal lengths.
