In Jan 2001 PopPhotog, on page 219, Smile Photo has a TC listed under Pentax
lenses. It says, "2x 7-element converter fPentax AF $119.95" I took this to
mean it was a Pentax "f" type TC. Is no?
Also, pp 160, CCI ad has, under "Pentax AF", a 2x TC for $59.99, and a
"Pentax Manual Focus" 2x TC for $29.99.
On pp 150 Camera Zone has, in the Pentax "Lenses" box, a "2x converter" for
$67. and a "2x pro converter for $157. Does not say anything about "AF"
here though.
Pp 140, Broadway camera has "Pro 2x 7-element converter fPentax" for
$269.99...
Pp 138, Photo King has, under "Pentax accessories", "2x converter fPentax AF
$34.99".
If none of these converters are made by Pentax, these advertisers are sure
trying hard to make it look like they are.....
