yes---   the 'pin' on the back the screw lens--if it has one-- doesn't go
anywhere
because the bayonet cameras don't have a striker plate to push it.

This implies the lense will be 'manual' and 'wide open' metering will not be
possible.    If your screw lens was a manual or preset type then no function
was lost because that function didn't exist anyway.
