Greetings! I have finally managed to join the group after many tries since the new move of pentax NG to PDML.net. Can one use FA 50 mm 1.7 lens plus 2X Tamron converter as 100 mm telephoto lens outdoor during traveling to Disneyland or to Europe. The reason for this odd posting. I generally travel with three primes - FA 35, FA 50 & FA135mm f2.8. I read somewhere that Pentax stopped producing FA 135 mm f2.8. I have this lens. I need it to take pictures of daughter dancing in the school auditorium. I am using it last one half years. I do not want to damage this lens during travel.
