I have the 555, and it's not digital. The same adapter I use with a ZX5n and
a PZ1p can be used with my SFXN and my 645 -- which is actually pretty
handy, since it kept my investment in modules small. With its manual sync
chord I can also use with a K1000 and a Yashicamat. I get very good results
with it, although I do wish it had more dedicated functions for Pentax. I
could see using it for contrast control with the pop-up flashes of the PZ or
the SF, but I don't know how you'd do it with an FTZ flash unless you used
the 500's slave function.
