A friend of mine has one of the Sigma 17-35 F2.8/4 EX and we have done some
informal tests. It is quite good. Reasonably sharp and distortion wasn't
bad. However, it is very prone to flare. I haven't handled the FA 20-35
yet so I can't compare to that. I still use my prime FA 20 and FA *24.
Haven't succombed to the zoom.
