Yes, and you can remove the battery as well. To turn off it is just a touch
of a button. Some models the battery comes out without opening the back,
others like MZ-50, takes a screw driver after opening the back.
Since I have an PZ-70, the battery removes thru an opening in the back but I
don't know about a ZX-5n but the backs are removable without tools and can
be exchanged for a non-data back...if you can find one.
