In addition, I wouldn't trust manual focusing with an old camera like the MX unless it has been recently adjusted with the use of a ground glass at the film plane. I'm sure that if you used several bodies with the same lens focused at the same subject the readout for correct focus on the lens with the different bodies will vary.Ironically, my calibrated MX delivers noticeably sharper images than my 3 years old Z-1p which was bought new, manual focus or AF.
