mike< belt tension is good. what i observe is stuttering for part of the stroke of the carriage and then it stops in the middle. i may get half a stroke after powering up. there are no clicking or banging noises, just a stuttering sound as the head moves. it is able to completely move from one end of the rail to the other when using the ink replacement button.
