I am hesitant to use it for fear > it will harm the camera. My documentation says that the warranty on the > camera is void if I use lenses other than Pentax. A few things you will have to answer for yourself, but the owners manual should help: Does the lens have an "A" setting? If not: Does the ZX-50 support non A series lenses? If the camera will support the lens, then the only reason it wouldn't work is if there is a mechanical reason for why the lens won't mount. Some K mount lenses (I think Rikoh may be one of them) has a notch of some sort in the mount that catches on the AF coupler and jams the lens to the body. Compare the mounts on your Pentax lens to the Rikenon and see if it looks like this is going to be a problem. If not, carefully mount the lens to see if it binds on anything going on. If there is any binding, don't force the lens, just remove it. Hope this helps.. William Robb
