Shooting with and without a winder...

I prefer carrying the LX without the winder as the batteries make the package
heavy.

I have the winder mounted on the LX right now for photos at gymnastics meets.
The action is fast paced and I don't want to remove my eye from the
viewfinder to wind the film. I'm using the camera with long lenses
(135/200/300) and a monopod. This lets me concentrate on focusing and the
decisive moment.
