I have a couple of Minolta 7sII's, and these meter fine with 1.5 v batteries. They are the same size as the Konicas. The shutter has a lighter spring than the Canons so they are a bit easier to hand hold at very low shutter speeds. The viewfinder is not nearly as good as the Canon though.
