Every now and then I get sick of the colour cliché (mine and others' images as well). Then I switch to B&W and suddenly discover the subject in the colour chaos. Lately I even put a yellow filter on the lens to help me ignore the offending colour. On this picture, one wouldn't have made any sense of the colour mosaic: http://pug.komkon.org/00june/MotoPan1.html Even my colour shooting benefited from the discipline of B&W. I now tend to carefully select the palette of colours - the fewer, the better: http://pug.komkon.org/01nov/FLURRY.html
