I have no idea if they're still around, and I've never held one, but there are/were a bunch of Chinese K1000 knock-offs around - Mingca was one of them. IIRC, they were made in factories that Pentax used to source K1000's at the end of their run.
Anyone know what they're like, or if they're still available?
