Bruce, don't you know? Scandinavia is Pentax's select focus group. Besides, my wife, 100% Scandinavian heritage, says the most beautiful women in the world are Scandinavian! Now what in the h_ll that has to do with anything I don't know.

What is it about Scandinavia that makes it the hotbed of Pentax news? And their attraction to Pentax?

Today I talked with a guy who had held both the *ist and it's digital
prototype in his hands. I´m confident he knew what he was talking about. I
didn´t as very specific things so as Pål says, "disclaimers apply" :)

1. Yes, the "DSLR *ist" is coming. It will probably be introduced at PMA
or Cebit. I got the impression that the DSRL basicly looks like an *ist with a BG-20 on it. 6 megapixels, APS sized sensor, aggressive pricing, released sometime in the summer.

2. He told me that both cameras (DSLR and *ist) are fully compatible with
K/M -lenses. For me, seeing is believing...

3. FAJ 18-35mm along with the DSLR. Don´t know the aperature range.
Wasn´t this lens rumored a year ago or so (well not the FAJ version)?

4. A new limited lens next fall. Don´t know anything else, but I´m pretty sure it ain´t a FAJ :)

If all this information is valid then this FAJ thing is getting
interesting...
