PayPal, checks, money orders, cash, used cars, whatever.

Cash. Delivered in person. there have been a few discussions on this list
over the last few years about flying from East to West coasst to pay for and
take delivery on an expensive lens. Why not?

Don't sell anything to someone you haven't had five secure transactions with
already. Or, go buy some plaastic sheeting and duct tape. Or, just relax and
accept the fact that lightning may strike, checks may be forged, and meteors
may hit your house, and it just really isn't worth it to spend much time
trying to prepare for any of these eventualities.
