Probably. Especially as for the "wrong lenses". But this situation isn't so
rare as one may think...
Suppose I haven't taken all of my lenses with me because of lack of room for
them. When I go shooting, I usually select my lenses according to my planned
subject... If anything unpredicted happens, that I want to photograph, I
have to use the lens I have at the given moment.
It may also be impossible to investigate the scene from every point of view.
One may not be able, for example, to get closer or move aside etc... But if
one is aware of the limitations and obstacles then can sometimes fix the
scene afterwards...
