Did anyone see this technology? It's either a great early April Fools joke,or a potentially valuable emerging technology.
Just think - no more fancy highly corrected multi-element lenses needed. Away goes the need for close-tolerance grinding. Just insert the matched Wavefront element (or maybe even an adapter like a TC), then put some software to work on the image. Presto, every lens has the best possible correction, and DOF greater than f64 optics. http://www.cdm-optics.com/site/ and noted on 3/18 at www.dpreview.com .
