Does seem to be, Doug. I'm not to be considered a guru ever, but I have owned and used a lot of manual cameras in the past, some of which have been held in very high regard, such as Leica (a IIIc I think it was,) a lovely, whisper quiet Contax (also III something - maybe a "c") even a Leica C1 (yeah, I know, it's not a Leica), lots of Pentaxii manual bodies and a few kilos of those lovely old SMC lenses, several Olympus OMs, early types with all _their_ great classic lenses, Retinas of all manner, from the early Type I folder thru the IIIs and the Instamatics, and the Retina Reflexes, the Retinettes, ZI Contaflex, the list goes on and on... It's just that the old manuals had _such_ honest character, and if you took the time to learn them and use them, there is hardly an equal today... So I firmly believe. > cheers, > caveman keith whaley dinosaur in the making...
