Today received my ME Super, from a seller on ebay and I have a small problem for which I can't find the cause.
The camera works great with the lens it came with (M 50/1:2) - the shutter fires and mirror goes up and down for all apertures and all speeds. With my A 50/1.7 there are problems - in small apertures (1.7,2,4) sometimes the mirror locks up in the up position and does not come down after the exposure. The shutter closes correctly. If I turn the aperture ring, the mirror unlocks and comes down. Sometimes it works fine.
Is this the infamous "sticky mirror" problem? When looking at the part where the mirror should come in contact with the upper side in front, i can see a small screw and traces of foam. It should have foam there, right?
So, should I just take the camera to a repairman to attach a stripe of foam there?

P.S. Is there a way of calculating the production year from the serial number?
