M series lenses, unfortunately, seem to be very prone to oil on the blades. I remember the review of the Pentax ME in Popular Photography back around 1978 mentionining that their test lenses had too much lubricant.
I once bought a brand new condition A35-105/3.5 which kept pumping out oil underneath the front element. Amazing!
