There's a short, 1 page review of the Optio S in the latest Pop Photo.
Appears they think it's a much better camera for the money than the Contax T
VS. Most interesting to me was the following:

I always think the price/performance ratio is rather subjective and never make much sense. They are good, they are bad, they are cheap, they are expensive. But what is good value for money? I really don't know. Not everything can be measure this way. It is like saying Sigma is always a better buy than any other lenses on earth. Damn! That's pure XX. Buy the best one can afford and forget those you can't or those not so good but cheaper. Sorry for the whining. :-)

So far all the Pentax digital samples I have seen don't look very sharp. Is there any practical reason to this? Or are Pentax simply lag behinds the competitions?
