That will do a 4x6. But, I saw a 1.6mp in the bunch. These things are not sold to people like us, they are sold to photographic illiterates. And, my old Nikon Coolpix 100 was only 480x512, many of the snapshots in my online journal were shot with it. It was adequate for that use.
