You couldn't have said it better. I was REALLY excited to see all the info and pictures of the pre-production model on DPreview, BUT, I really do want to see how a production model works before I decide to buy or not.
My $0.02: It's a shame that pre-A lenses aren't getting full support . . . wondering how I'm going to use older K and M lenses. I wonder if it'd be possible to use the LCD as an exposure preview with MLU?

Yeah, I think this may actually be is number 1 selling point to people who arent already tied into the lens mount. A lot of people using prosumer cams could well be put off DSLRs due to the size and weight of the damn things. This is one of the main arguments behing the 4/3 system from olympus. But if we can have a body that small which still takes our existing glass, that has to be better than 4/3? The other advantage of 4/s is the smaller lenses, but Pentax seem to be looking at that too (as does Nikon). However the adoption of DA lenses could signal that full frame is a long way off, which does not please me...
