No. It has to do with extra pixels which aren't used and so aren't
counted.

The sensor being used has 6.31 megapixels total.
But 0.21 meg are outside the image capture area so the number of
*effective* pixels is 6.31 million minus 0.21 million, which is 6.1
million or 6.1 megapixels.
