Hi Gang; State Street Direct; www.ssdonline.com is now taking pre-orders for the Canon 300D digital Rebel. $999 with an 18-55 (28-90 equiv.) lens. It's interesting to note that although they sell Pentax they are not listing the *ist-D yet. Also, am I the only one who finds it strange that with the embargo past and the camera to be shipping within the next month, that there aren't any independent reviews of the camera with actual images?
