My thanks to Gabor, Jens, and Evan for clarifying the mount arrangement in
CZJ lenses. Because of my aversion to dimmed viewfinders, I no longer
regret that I recently missed picking up a "K-mount" CZJ 20/2.8 for $200 by
a few hours.

But Gabor also wrote:

Some old teles (2.8/120, 2.8/180) are a bit different, they were
designed for use on 35mm and MF as well, and the mount can be changed
easyly.

Is the 180/2.8, then, a true K mount, with full metering?

PS: Anyone who would like to read collected comments or current sourcces
for the Jena 20/2.8, 25/4, or 180/2.8, write to me. A Swedish dealer (
http://home6.swipnet.se/~w-60531/) currently lists a K-mount CZJ 24/2.8 MC
(multicoated) Macro in grade A for 2000 Swedish kroenig (about $202); the
24/2.8 is described as "extremely rare" on a Practika site (
http://www.geocities.com/RodeoDrive/Mall/2536/Lenses.htm).
