I don't recall having a problem mounting this lens . . . of course my LX has been out of action for a while, and I haven't used it . . . I'll have to check on this when I get home . . . wouldn't want to ruin the lens or camera, thanks for the heads up!

Agreed, except I found that the LX is one body (and this is not true of all K-mount bodies) that requires shaving off the excessive old-style K-mount baffle that is found (until it is removed) on some of the original VS1 gems.
