Have you ever photographed an item only to find that the highlights
from a bright piece of chrome or metal was blown out because the
reflection of the light on that area was too great? Have you ever
wondered what you could do about it? Well, I went to a photo
workshop over the weekend, and a photographer who worked for the
movie studios suggested hair spray. A very light mist of hair
spray on bright metal, glass, eye glasses, and the like, will
diffuse the light and reduce the reflections. It supposedly works
quite well and rinses off easily with just a little water.
