Speaking of enabling run rampant, would I qualify as idiotically
self-destructive if I just pushed back my own cause by buying a
near-mint ME Super that just walked through the door? Cuz, uh, I just
did. Along with a gorgeous near mint Honeywell Spotmatic with a
used-looking Super Tak 50mm f1.4 for my Dad (whose SP 500's meter gave
up the fight a bit ago). And a very odd looking "Lenitar" 21mm f3.8 in
m42 mount because it was so ridiculous looking. Does anyone have this
lens? Does it stink?
So, I just called my Dad to spoil his surprise (I couldn't resist), and
he's really excited to get the 50 f1.4, since he couldn't afford one
back when he bought his SP 500.
Am I a good son or what?
