I found my A*85mm much more responsive than my K lenses. It isn't loose but it glides quickly, easily and precisely. My K and M lenses have a more damped feel. The FA 100mm f/2.8 Macro is what I'd call "loose" :) Cheers, - Dave http://www.digistar.com/~dmann/
