OK, the *istD has several options for saving

JPEG (Large Medium, Small)
TIFF
RAW

When saving a TIFF as a jpeg in photoshop, it reduces the image
from a 17Meg file to about 2.6Meg.

How much loss is there in the printing of the jpeg file?
