Just about any graphics card should be good enough; the difference, nowadays, is how fast they can do high-resolution 3D animations, which is not a concern for 2D image viewing; the limiting factor will be how fast you can move data between the main CPU memory and the graphics card, and that's a function of the interface. 32MB is more than enough for anything photoshop will try to do. > Is it wort $200 to get a 7200rpm hd instead of a 4200rpm drive? That might well be worthwhile - it will transfer data much faster. You'll be moving a lot of data around (especially if you have many images open for editing at one time - Photoshop will start swapping to disk way before you might expect it to do so).
