Hi all,

I recently received a box of old flash units from an estate sale. Low
price, but mostly junk. There was one unit, however, that looked like a
reasonable non-TTL auto-thyristor flash. The model is Fujica Autostrobo
300x, and it appears to have a second contact on the shoe for dedicated use
with Fujica 35mm SLRs. It's about the same size as a Sunpak 383 or 443/444.
It has a tilt head (but no swivel), guide number 100 (in feet), one auto
mode, and three manual modes. It also has an odd-looking tiny second
flashlamp on the front of the unit (not on the tilt head). This small lamp
fires a low-power flash simultaneous with the full-power flash on the tilt
head. Has anyone ever seen one of these units? Any idea if it's worth more
than a couple dollars? I may try to clean it up and sell it on eBay if it's
worth the trouble.

Thanks in advance for any clues on this one.
