*The* place to visit for specs on any K-mount camera is Boz's
(recently updated) K-mount pages, at  http://www.phred.org/pentax/k/

simple camera offering a choice of program, aperture priority & manual
operation.  The fastest shutter speed is 1/1000 (flash sync at 1/100).
The single biggest drawback of these bodies is that there is no film
speed override, or manual film speed setting - you have to use DX coded
film canisters.  The bodies do have exposure compensation, in case you
want to rate film at something other than the manufacturer's rating.
