I keep promising I won't do this anymore, but I shot another wedding yesterday. The groom was my across the street neighbour for a couple of years, and is one of the finer people I know.
I shot the entire job on the ist D, which I found very fun. I used to have to watch how much film I went through, especially at the church, so that I owuldn't be caught changing either film or camera body at an inopportune moment. Having a 1 gig card and shooting in jpeg fine mode allows in excess of 400 shots, though I only shot just over half that amount. I used the A35mm f/2 for the bulk of the shooting, and the A50mm f/1.2 for some of the portraits. The 20mm and 77mm saw some use, but not much. The nearly 20 year old Metz works just fine on the new camera, exposures are consistent, though I thought slightly overexposed, so I dialed in -1/2 stop of exposure compensation, which seemed to do what I wanted.
