It's not a storage device, though - just a CD burner that can created CDs directly from a CF card/MicroDrive/etc., without needing to be connected to a computer (although it can also be used as an external CD-RW/DVD drive and memory card reader). It's also a DVD player, so that could be handy if you want to put one of those in the family car for long trips.
