Has anyone looked through the viewfinder of the E1?  YUCK!  like looking
through a dim tunnel.  By comparison the ist-D is a joy.

Maybe the 4/3 concept was innovative, surely the features and body are up to
standards, but the sensor size is too small, the viewfinder is crap, and
there just aren't enough pixels.  Not to mention that it's very expensive
compared to the established competition.  You could easily buy in to the
Canon and Nikon DSLR system for the same money if you were "new" to a camera
system and shopping around.  And, I would see no reason for a working pro to
change to Olympus.
