Possibly.  I don't have the newspaper article to hand, but there's been
a big uproar recently becuse the redevelopment plans for the site end
up demolishing Building 23, referred to as the place where disk drives
were invented.

(I thought the DASD was the Winchester 14", a much later development)

(Don't let the East coast time zone fool you;  I post using a NY ISP,
but I'm physically located in Silicon Valley, around 1 mile from the
IBM/Hitachi plant in question).
