I positively LOVE both the F 300/4.5 and its tripod collar. That lens is so sharp it stands out in the viewfinder as being sharper. And the collar is a dream. It took me two years to find an F at a price I was willing to pay, but was fully worth the wait. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
