William Robb noticed a while ago that when using faster film, say 3200 or 800 with 2 stops of over exposure
the meter automatic metering system in the LX will sometimes give extreme underexposure. I did a bit of experimenting
and noticed the same behavior. When you would expect a seconds long exposure sometimes it will be much shorter.

Hi Peter ...

How might film speed affect the problem?

Anybody have an idea as to why my LX should produce the occasional, severely
underexposed frame
