The canyon view may well have been better at a different time of day, but I was on a 12 mile hike, and I was there at the moment. However, due to the peaks on both sides, most of La Jolla Canyon is lit only during mid day. I'm not sure if a low light shot is possible. I could make the shadows softer in PhotoShop CS. It's quite good at that. Perhaps I'll give it a try and post it again.
